My Thoughts about this Quote:
The whole sentence was: "Miss Bright was delighted to have found in Ezra the rarest of things: a pupil who was hungry to learn."Is a pupil hungry to learn really that rare?
Without commenting on that...
Does the environment we are in as pupils influence how much we want to learn? Does the role as a "pupil" influence our curiosity.... at least to the things we are taught?
People are curious by nature.... would being a pupil make one less curious, less willing to learn?
