My Thoughts:
This is a rather negative way to think about falling in love. It immediately encompasses the ending of the feeling in question and in that way diminishes it. The same is also achieved with the "makes life exciting" part, because it implies that it the only thing or the most important thing that falling in love accomplishes and my next thought to that implication is that there would be easier ways to get excitement. From this quote arise questions like: what is really the role or part of going head over heels, falling for or falling in love with someone? What do we gain from it?More Background Information:
